Let’s Help This Important Ministry Support Our Homeless Neighbors…
Every Wednesday and Friday, from 10 AM to 2 PM, the Maui Rescue Mission provides a hot shower, clothes washing machine and dryer, health screening, and counseling. and lunch to up to 78 customers. On Wednesdays, they are at Lahaina Baptist Church, and on Fridays, we have been hosting a brunch fellowship and Bible Study. At the Friday event, we have a nurse on hand and volunteers to help our guests sign up for food benefits and housing. We hand out “dignity bags” of toiletry items containing soap, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, combs, washing detergent, etc. You may drop off toiletries at our office.
