Support UMCOR's Disaster Relief Efforts for Hurricane Helene Victims

At Lahaina United Methodist Church, we know firsthand the profound impact of disaster. When a devastating fire forced us to flee our homes and our church was burned to the ground, it was the generosity of churches across the country that lifted us up in our time of need. Now, as we witness the devastation brought by Hurricane Helene to the Southeast United States, it’s our turn to give back.
The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is actively working to support those whose lives have been turned upside down by this hurricane. They provide critical assistance to communities in distress, helping families recover and rebuild.
While we are exploring ways to support local churches affected by the hurricane, we can immediately direct our contributions to UMCOR’s Disaster Response Team, who are on the ground providing essential aid.
