On Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 3:00 PM, we will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of our church building on Front Street. The congregation started as a Japanese mission to the sugar and pineapple plantations in 1896. In 1922, we constructed a permanent church building to minister to the growing families in our congregation.
Our congregation has greatly changed over the 100 years since we moved to our location on Front Street. We will therefore be kicking off our 101st year by celebrating the many cultures that make up our congregation with a ceremony, entertainment, and feast.
If you are on the island, we invite you to join us in the celebration.
