Maui Rescue Mission

Let’s Help These Important Ministries Support Our Neighbors…

Every Wednesday and Friday, from 10 AM to 2 PM, the Maui Rescue Mission provides a a hot shower, a clothes washing machine and dryer, health screening, counseling. and lunch to up to 78 customers. On Wednesdays they are at Lahaina Baptist Church, and of Fridays, they are at our church. They would like to purchase a second trailer so that they can assist more people, and they are supported by donations. They also need “dignity bags” of toiletry items containing soap, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, combs, washing detergent, etc. You may drop off toiletries at our office, and we will bring them to the Maui Rescue Mission.

Salvation Army

Because of restrictions mandated by our state and federal government in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the food preparation ministry is on hold until further notice, but we are collecting non-perishable food and hygiene items for these organizations, and Judi Kimball is making brownies every week for the Salvation Army. We are still collection toiletries, sending in donations, and participating in their Angel tree program.

If you would like to contribute to either or both of these ministries, please hit the donate button, fill in your payment information, and when you get to the Additional Information box, click the checkbox next to Donate to Maui Rescue Mission, Donate to the Salvation Army, or Donate to Both, or enter in special instruction in the text box below. You can also send in a check and write in your preference in the notes field.
